In a typical "haunted castle" there may be a myriad of environmental factors that may affect the visitor or create discomfort in particular sensible persons (changes in temperature, poor ventilation, strong odors, mold, chemicals etc. .... EM-Fields and Infrasounds/Ultrasounds are certainly the last of the list and the most improbable!) obviously none of these factors has anything to do with the "full-blown" apparitions or "poltergeist" episodes sometimes reported by the visitors, except in few extremelly rare cases
1) Allergy / Hypersensitivity / Panic / Phobic Crisis Reactions with Psychotic Features (but in these cases the possible hallucination with "paranormal" content is accompanied by clearly recognizable severe mental symptoms like panic, mental confusion, disorientation, delirium, or other clear signs of Generally Altered State of Consciousness etc. )
2) Suggestion-driven Spontaneous Hypnosis/ASC/Oneiroid states in highly suggestionale persons (but with the same complex mental symptoms and manifestations of Crisis Reactions)
The crude theory that Sub-Audible Infrasound waves (or any other common prosaic ambiental factor) can generate a "classical" full-blown, or even a partial "GHOST HALLUCINATION" in normal persons in relatively normal situations is definitely a NON-SENSE.
